Ivette is a lover of books and a lover of food. She likes to eat Arabic, Salvadorean, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Korean, and Indian food. Ivette would like to have dinner with President Obama because she believes he is an incredible and successful individual.

Ivette is passionate about education because she believes an education provides people with the opportunity to grow and learn. Also, education is the key to success. She also believes that everyone deserves to be provided an education. An education will provide people with numerous opportunities in order to succeed in college, career and life.

One of Ivette’s recent accomplishments is that she received a Certificate of Excellence from the Urban Fellows Fellowship. Outside of works, she likes to explore Los Angeles, read, write and dance.
